Vitamin C Drip or Jab, You Choose

Tuesday is the HARDEST to pass

BECAUSE:

Theres no reason for you to SLACK (Monday blues)

Its not "MID-WEEK finally" happiness (Wednesday)

No "ITS FRIDAY TOMORROW" anticipation (Thursday)

Thank God Its Friday (Friday)

When I woke up this morning,

I've got a suddenly urge to post what i've done recently for the past few months.

Because of me 爱美美的,

really 爱美不要命

went for Vitamin C & Glutathione drip at Privé Clinic.

I love the results

but everytime I go, it cost me $250 before GST!!

1 Dose of Vit C and 1 Dose of Glutathione (GSH)

穷死我了!!

Whats so good about it??

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C, or Ascorbic Acid, is the cornerstone of any antioxidant program. It is an extraordinary molecule that performs hundreds of essential functions. Vitamin C helps cement the body together by forming a fibrous connective tissue called collagen. An excellent ingredient key to maintaining a youthful, radiant complexion.

Glutathione

In human beings, Glutathione is mostly found in the liver, spleen, kidneys and pancreas, where it performs essential biological functions. It protects against damage to proteins in the brain and for that reason it is often classed as the ‘smart nutrient’. It also protects the stomach lining against environmental toxins.

Along with vitamin C, Glutathione is one of the master antioxidant along with Vitamin E. CoQ10 and lipoic acid. Glutathione has a crucial role in the body’s immune defenses. A loss of glutathione leads to increased susceptibility to free radicals. Glutathione protects us from the effect from a variety of toxic substances.

Research has also shown that the following primary function of this powerful antioxidant.

• Involved in the synthesis and repair of DNA
• Helps recycle Vitamin C and Vitamin E
• Blocks damages of free radicals
• Enhance the antioxidant activity of Vitamin C
• Facilitates the transport of amino acids

Research has also shown that Glutathione when combine with other antioxidant such as Vitamin C, forms a powerful Melasma blocking factor in the skin.

Let me review about it.

I personally feel its good. ( Of course with the price i pay~!!)

1st time i went there everything was fine.

After the drip, I felt my eyebag twitching.

I believe its the drip that is taking effect. after2 days its fine.

And i felt my skin getting better.

BUT when i went there the 2nd time,

as usual, i don't look when they insert the needle in

Just concentrate on text-ing

after a few sec i felt pain.

The pain is getting stronger and stronger

(I dun remember having such pain the 1st time)

When i told the nurse,

she slow down the flow of the drip, it didnt help.

She then ask me to straighten my hand, but i can't coz of the pain

Then she turn off the drip and ran out to get the doc.

(Doc Karen Soh isn't doing it for me. both times was this Filipina Lady)

To my surprise, the doc came strolling in and just look at my hand

and say something like: "oh, should be that the needle went out of place. I'll take out and poke another side"

Wat can i say then? I was like WTF!!?!! U didnt even apologise

i know needle went out of place isnt much of a problem

but you hurt a customer who is paying freaking $250 (before GST)

(I know it might not seem to be alot of $$ to certain people. but to me, its still $$$!!!)

She then poke in and just walk out.

After my drip, I paid and walked off.

Went online to search for other places to continue this treatment.

(I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE AGAIN, IT REALLY HURTS!! I COULD NOT BEND MY HAND FOR SOME TIME AND WHEN I TOUCH IT, THERES A LUMP)

Lucky Me!! I found one near my place and MUCH cheaper.

and I mean ALOT MORE Cheaper!!!

This place doesn't provide drip, instead, it is an Injection process

As usual, they will strap up my arm,

find my veins, clean with alcohol wipe and IN the needle went.

Not much pain. Just like ant bite.

I felt my arm arm like got 酸酸feeling

The more injected in, the more 酸

I didnt see the whole process

(afraid of needles)

but a friend told me. Kinda terrifying.

(Will ask my sis to take pic of the process on the 4th June)

After 1 time treatment
for some reason, I love the effect.

(Top is totally before vitamin C drip, Bottom is after Drip and Jab.)

For both pic I'm on light make up and top pic us using Iphone 4 while bottom Iphone 4S

She explain to you about what is this jab about
and as well totally not pushy, never even ask me to do.
even said I dun need whitening and reminded me that this is not a whitening jab
it only improves health. which will then lead to better skin repair as well.
I'm totally SATISFIED with the results and will be going back there again.
